Hackensack Meridian Urgent Care provides in-house rapid lab testing and low dose x-rays, all on site at our centers. Having on site facilities saves you time from having to visit another clinic and waiting for results.
Some tests do require processing at an outside facility and we notify our patients if this is needed. Once we receive your results, they are reported directly to you in a timely manner.

Low-Dose X-Rays
At our urgent care centers, we offer onsite x-rays for all patients, which can help reduce the time, cost, and hassle of receiving medical care. Our ability to quickly diagnose common conditions such as pneumonia, bronchitis, asthma, and broken bones means you won’t need to go elsewhere for x-rays at Hackensack Meridian Urgent Care.

Some tests need to be sent to a lab for processing because our urgent care is not equipped to handle labs during your visit. Examples of these tests include kidney panels, thyroid testing, and various other lab tests. We will contact you with your results once we receive them. You may receive a bill from the lab that processes your specimen. All lab tests must be ordered by one of our providers after you have been seen by them. Costs will vary depending on your insurance coverage. For information on lab coverage, please reach out to your insurance provider.
• Please note, our urgent care center is not freestanding clinic for laboratory testing.
• Please note, our urgent care center does not perform advanced imaging such as MRI, CT, Ultrasounds, etc. Other facilities and centers in the Hackensack Meridian Health family have advanced imaging capabilities.
• Please note: X-rays are only available when a Physician and/or Radiologic Technologist are on site.
